François LAURET

François LAURET (Pignans 1820- Toulon 1868).

Frère cadet du peintre Emmanuel-Joseph Lauret, il part en 1851 rejoindre son frère en Algérie.

Il y peint des paysages et des scènes de la vie quotidienne algérienne

Il signe ses toiles « Lauret jeune ».
